I'm a wife, mom and a full-time nanny that lives in the deep South where we only have two seasons, winter and a whole lot of summer. I've always loved to sew, quilt and do other fun arts and crafts. I also like to cook if someone else will clean up my mess I hope someone reads this and gets a chuckle or learns something that they didnt know.

My Little Loaf of Bread
Hello to everyone! I have been really busy with trying to get my Christmas sewing finished. Just as soon as I think I'm finished I think of something else that I want to do. This year everyone is getting a little more home made things than they have in past years. I think everybody will be OK with that.
Just the other day while I was in my sewing room making a gown for a little girl that I used to babysit I noticed that one of my dogs, Scooter, was missing. Well, not really missing, but not in my sight. I didn't think much about it and later I heard an odd noise. I looked around and found him scratching around in a basket that I had on the floor. There was some interfacing and a quilt that I had folded up and laid in the basket. He's never really been one for sleeping in anything except a bed. But when I turned around I was pleasantly surprised. He had found him a little out of the way place to catch a short nap. I thought he looked kinda like a loaf of bread. I thought maybe a lot of you would get a kick out of it too.

Dogs!!!
We have 3 dogs that stay inside and sometimes the two largest, Daisy, the Mastiff and Shug, the Boxer, try my patience. They are ONLY 75lbs. and 50lbs. and they're sitting on the couch with me and our Pug, Scooter. Scooter and I are trying to blog and it's like having two very unruly children playing and they won't mind me half the time. If my blog doesn't read well it's because I'm fighting the dogs off and trying to keep them off my laptop. Daisy hates it when she's not the center of attention. She'll put her paw on my laptop and she has been known to completely erase my writing for the morning. I do have to remember they are only 7mths. and 1yr. old. Calm is not something that I can have in my house. I just want to run away some times as long as I don't have to take the dogs. Look at the pictures below and you can see my dilemma.

I know they look so sweet. But, trust me they are angels when they're sleeping and can be little devils when they're awake.
